CONTENT LANGUAGE INTEGRATED LEARNING

During the school year, ACLE runs a CLIL Workshop Tour around Italy with mother-tongue English teachers. CLIL (Content Language Integrated Learning) is a methodology for teaching a foreign language, in this case English, through various content or subject areas, including geography, history, video-making, pop music, and drama.

Candidates must be native speakers of English, have an EU passport and a driver’s license, and love working with students from lower primary through upper secondary school. Teaching experience and a university degree are preferred.

Teachers are trained in the latter half of October, with the tour running from November to May. Each group is comprised of two teachers, and bookings may be for 60-minute workshops or 90-minute workshops.

The objective of this project is to give Italian elementary school students the opportunity to improve their English, open their cultural horizons, and expose them to various subject areas in English through dynamic, motivating, level-appropriate workshops.

Interested candidates should send their CV to info@acle.it
