ACLE does not pay for your travel to and from Italy. You need to make your own way to the orientation venue that you are invited to, and you are responsible for your departure from your final camp.
You should have personal insurance to cover any travel-related issues, and any medical issues whilst not at camp, or travelling between camps.
You must also pay an orientation fee of € 200,00 when you arrive in Italy. This includes six nights accommodation at a hotel, meals, training and didactic material at the orientation when you arrive.
In addition we would recommend that you consider purchasing an Italian SIM-card when here, as this is really useful for communication with host-families, and with your fellow tutors.
Furthermore, pocket-money for any souvenirs or personal items is worth bringing, as you won’t receive your first study-grant contribution until after three weeks of camps.
